We'd love for our guests to stay together in our hotel room block. If you are unable, we understand and have provided some additional recommendations below for your consideration. Please note, for the wedding weekend itself we recommend guests stay in Marin County (north of the Golden Gate Bridge) to avoid any bridge traffic delays and to be closest to all the festivities. If you do extend your stay, we have included our top San Francisco recommendations below.

Activities:
Muir Woods National Monument​​
Walk amongst the redwoods! An entrance ticket and parking pass is required and needs to be reserved in advance. You can arrange your visit here.

Hiking in Marin
Check out all of the great trails in the area: Dipsea Trail, Tennessee Valley Trailhead, Point Reyes Hiking Trails, Tomales Point Trail, Bon Tempe Lake Trailhead, and Mount Tamalpais State Park.

Sausalito
Walk along the houseboats and ice cream shops in the small waterside town of Sausalito. ​

On a clear day, head to Battery Spencer for iconic views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Golden Gate Park
Walk around the park and check out highlights like the Conservatory of Flowers, the Botanical Gardens (our engagement spot!), the Japanese Gardens, the De Young Museum, the California Academy of the Sciences, the AIDS Redwood Memorial Grove, the Dutch Windmill, and, of course, the famous hidden Bison Paddock!

Ferry Building
Head to the Ferry Building for cute artisanal gift shops and restaurants with views of the Bay Bridge. On Saturday mornings, enjoy the Ferry Building Farmer's Market. You can also hop on various ferry rides (including over to Marin County as you head to our wedding weekend)!

Palace of Fine Arts, Crissy Field, and Presidio Tunnel Tops
Admire the unique Palace of Fine Arts, a stunning outdoor structure originally built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition. From there, you can walk along the Bay through Crissy Field and the Tunnel Tops for views of the Golden Gate Bridge (on a clear day).​​
